Workshop/Professional Development Offerings 2022/23

Face-to-face trainings

•Full day face to face trainings on building executive function skills for all educators (and parents) - covers the basics of EF and 25 strategies for working with students with EF in all environments

•Two-day EF trainings on strategies for building EF skills - incorporates a make and take where participants have an opportunity to make tools for working with students

•Full day training on the content of FLIPP 2.0 – includes setting up the classroom, teaching strategies, and behavioral strategies for students with ASD

•Full day training focused specifically on behaviour strategies

•Facilitated conversations designed to increase co-teaching and collaboration for school site or district teams. This training can be designed for one or two full days, based on the needs of the client.

•Positive Behaviour and Intervention Strategies training (1-7 days)

•Communication skills for parents

•Communication and facilitation skills for professionals, including Alternative Dispute Resolution training

•Classroom coaching for improving academics and behavior

•Training in delivery of Direct Instruction programs – Corrective Reading Decoding and Comprehension.


Webinars – synchronous via Zoom

•All the above, except for the make and take, are available as webinars and can be broken into as many installments as needed. I have done webinar series of three or four 90-minute sessions or two or more half-day sessions.

•One-to-two-day training for parents focused on development of skills for working collaboratively with the district in developing IEPs, with the goal of reducing complaints and due process filings and increasing collaboration.


Webinars – asynchronous via Thinkific

•On-line trainings on building executive function skills for all educators (and parents) - covers the basics of EF and 25 strategies for working with students with EF in all environments – includes six lessons on content, plus the ability to add the make and take components to complete independently. This course can be completed individually or as a group with a facilitator.
